 Celebrating 18 new beds for homeless youth. 

Washington, DC — Covenant House Washington, in partnership with Department of Human Services (DHS), Department of Youth Rehabilitation Services (DYRS) and continuation of the Mayor’s Solid Foundations DC: Strategic Plan to Prevent & End Homelessness announce the ribbon cutting of CHW’s The Sanctuary (Overnight Respite Center) – providing youth with 10 emergency overnight beds and Rights of Passage III – providing transitional housing to youth seeking CHW’s supportive wrap-around services.

“We are excited to provide new resources in the community that strengthen our continuum of care in Washington, DC, as we work to end youth homelessness in the district.” says President and CEO of Covenant House Washington, Dr. Madye Henson.
