WASHINGTON, DC – In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Covenant House Greater Washington (CHGW) will host WPGC 95.5 & Joe Clair on Saturday, August 22 for Fill the Pantry, Disinfectant and Food Drive.

 

As the number of cases in our region continues to climb, there is a greater need to support our young people experiencing homelessness who are without everyday necessities. To meet those needs, CHGW is respectfully asking supporters to participate in the Fill the Pantry event and also consider a monetary donation. Requested items include non-perishable food items (canned, dried and boxed goods, etc.) and cleaning supplies (disinfectant spray, cleaning wipes, cleaning solutions, paper products, etc.) Due to COVID-19, we are asking all event volunteers and donors to wear a mask. Social distancing will be maintained – vehicles will be instructed to drive up and a representative will receive items.
